Wayne Dalton’s steel garage door Model 9700 is stylish and versatile, offering a wide variety of carriage house designs, large windows and multiple colors or stain options. These garage doors feature pinch resistant door panels and are fully insulated with an R-Value of 10*. These carriage house garage doors offer embossed, high tensile steel panels that give the look of wood with the strength of steel.

Pinch-resistant door panels

The Wayne-Dalton pinch-resistant garage door design is engineered to help eliminate injuries caused when fingers are caught in door panel joints during downward operation of the door. This is an important feature to Wayne-Dalton doors, as there can be injuries associated with standard garage door operation.

Wayne-Dalton developed the first integrated pinch-resistant door design in the industry.

 

Polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation
Our Model 9700 garage doors have an R-Value of 10*. The doors are manufactured with polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation using a patented process. Polyurethane insulation delivers twice the thermal performance of polysterene insulation of the same thickness! It also adds strength and rigidity to the door panels and helps dampen sound transmission.

Bottom weather seal
In addition to insulation, Wayne-Dalton's doors have a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside.
