To maintain the look of a custom swinging door, clear cedar trim is applied in single pieces before cutting so the wood's grain matches down the full height of the door. The frame is kiln-dried hemlock with a polystyrene insulation core.
You may specify your door's facing in mahogany, MDO plywood*, tongue-in-groove
cedar or T1-11 plywood.
Windows are standard with 7400 models. They are true divided
windows with individual glass separated by one inch muntins.
Each collection consists of four 16" x 2" hinge straps and two 9" pull handles. Every piece is made from black powder coated steel with a hand-hammered look. Additional accent pieces are available to match or complement each collection.
Inspired by the detailing of Old World estates, the Wayne-Dalton Euro Collections incorporate classic design icons.
Imagery of the American southwest can be found in the graphic interpretations of native graphics.
Knockers, corner brackets and clavos give a respectful nod to the decorative nails and studs craftsmen used to accent their entry doors for hundreds of years. Also available in wrought iron: 16" hinge strap; 16" hinge strap with pintle hinge; Fleur-de-Lis lift handle
